The sandstone cliffs in Berdorf are well-known all over Europe and are often visited by climbers from all over the world. They are located in the middle of the beautiful nature of Berdorf, in the forest part "Wanterbaach", and can be reached from the parking "on Kasselt" (about 5 minutes) or parking Center Martbusch (about 8 minutes).
The climbing area is accessible daily all year round !
For ecological reasons the activity of climbing is recommended only one hour after sunrise and until one hour before sunset.
Climbing is allowed in the rocks of Wanterbach in Berdorf. It is restricted to the members of a climbing association, which in turn must be a member of one of the two international climbing associations UIAA or IFSC. Climbers will have to present the certificate of their membership along with their ID card to officials of the nature conservation inspection.
